MY MIND IS GOING CRAZY!

As Kyle & I headed up to Utah for our Christmas vacation I knew it was going to be a good two weeks, and it has turned out to be a GREAT two weeks! Christmas eve we spent with my family and it was so spiritual and amazing, Christmas day was even better we all got what we wanted especially my gorgeous new niece! and just knowing we are all going to be able to start over with a new year is just so great!
The past month has been a little up & down with different emotions, two days before Christmas was the day I had my miscairrage and I really thought I was going to be fine but then thinking that I could've been a mom with a 4 month old baby spending his/her first christmas with my family kinda got to me.... and still knowing that it has now been a year and we still don't have any answers is really irratating! On Friday night we went out to the movie and I saw a family friend and her beautiful little adopted girl she actually has two adopted little girls and they are so beautiful and me keeping my options open I went and talked to her about the adoption agencies she went through, she actually said oh that's great they are looking for people right now to adopt some little african american girls and if we started our paper work by at least next week we could have a little girl by Febuary, I just thought that was so great and I was actually pretty excited! ( I always get ahead of myself) well after really thinking about it and talking to kyle that night reality kicked in! My health isn't really that great right now and I do need to get my surgery not just for the whole baby situation but so they can figure out a way so I'm not always in pain, we are going to start building a house hopefully by spring, and the costs of adoption has gone up and we would need to save for a little while! (its so sad the price they put on the little kids around the world that need homes) And like Kyle said we can keep our options open but we also need to take one step at a time.
Every time I talk to the Lord about this subject I always get the same answer that I need to keep my options open, and I need to do my part and get my surgery done! I know for a fact that I will adopt one day it could be sooner or later on in my life and it won't just be one! but every time I do pray about this something always comes up like a lesson in church or something some one says to me that just always reminds me to keep my options open. Today in my parents ward Brother Bartholomew was teaching our class and the topic was on
Family Responsibilities:
He went through and told us what the church thinks is the responsibity of the kids and the father and then he got to the mother and what he read just really got to me and touched me!

Responsibilites of the Mother
President David O. Mckay said that motherhood is woman's NOBLEST CALLING it is a sacred calling, a PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD in bringing his spirit children into the world. A mother's most important responsibility is to bring children into the world and to care for and teach them. Bearing children is one of the GREATEST OF ALL BLESSINGS.
Elder Boyed K. Packer praise women who were unable to have children of their own yet sought to care for others. He said "When I speak of mothers, I speak not only of those women who have borne children but also of those who have fostered children born to others, and of the many women who, without children of their own, have mothered the children of others"
what President David O. Mckay and Elder Boyed K. Packer said just really hit me today and has helped me with some answers I have been searching for! The good news out of all this is I have a doctors appointment with my specialist and we are going to be setting a date for my surgery and I will finally be getting some answer and even though it might not be the exact answers we are looking for I now know who to go to for some adoption agencies!

I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE the Holidays! All the time you get to spend with family and friends, stuffing yourself completely full with delicious foods, sweets and love! All the get together's with friends that you haven't been able to see and family, all the Christmas cards and updates that has happened this year, all the Christmas stories and carols, Christmas music blasting in your house, with decorations every where! and being able to have a fresh start, new goals and a hope that the new year will be great! and lets not forget the most important remembering the birth of Jesus Christ!

Here is just a little update of our year!

It has been a difficult year for us but we still have some wonderful memories! lets see... Kailee and Chris welcomed their first stinkin cute, adorable son Kael into the world, we were so excited to be an uncle and aunt, and then Kade and Meggan announced they were expecting their first extremely breath taking beautiful little girl (yea I know I haven't seen her yet but I am very confident she will be all that and more!) this January, only 4 more weeks to go!! I did have a miscarriage last December and I did struggle but things are good and I know why it had to happen, we will be getting some answers from the doctors after all the holidays, so hopefully (crossing my fingers) we will be expecting our first little one soon!

Kyle turned the big 2-0, in March, I always forget that he is almost 2 years younger than me, he is such an amazing strong person, and very mature (sometimes) and responsible for his age, I think he will always be a big kid at heart but that's what I love he is always making everyone laugh especially when they most need it! He has been there for my family through thick and thin and thick and thin again, and they love him so very much!

we celebrated our One year anniversary in July, by going through the Temple on the 26Th to be sealed together for all Eternity! That was such an amazing experience and I love love LOVE going to the Temple! Kyle and I got a calling in our ward to teach the CTR 6 class, we both loved getting to know each and every one of them they all are extremely smart and just so funny! they made my testimony grow even more and taught me a lot! Kyle then got another calling to be the priesthood advisor, the kids were a little upset that he was leaving us but I thought we did OK without him?? since it is now the end of the year I have been released from teaching the CTR 6 class, I am very sad because I loved them and looked forward to seeing them each week, I am now with the sunbeams, I will let you know how that will work out!?

We started in May looking at houses but about August really got serious about it, that was an adventure and a big learning experience of its own, we haven't givin up just taking a little break we are looking at some land and most likely will be building our first home and I am so very proud to say my dad will be building our house for us, I don't think anyone else could do a better job than him! and I can't wait to get it all started, and have that experience with my dad!

Kyle has been working his little fanny off and it is paying off and hopefully (crossing my fingers again), he will be made foreman sometime this coming year!

I turned 22 in November, don't feel any older, not a big deal just another birthday, there will be one next year! all I wanted to do for my birthday this year was have thanksgiving with my family and it turned out even better than I thought because we had it with my family and Robert and Kole too!

Lots more happened this year I am sure I just don't want to get into to much detail and have you reading for hours but that was just some of the high lights of the year! This year for Christmas we get to stay for 2 whole weeks yay!! on account for Kyle working his little fanny off! we will be spending it with my family and Robert! Kailee, Kael, and Kole we will miss you guys give your mom, Paul, and Kaden a BIG hug for us! And hopefully we will be able to see all our family and friends this year!

We love you all and hope you have a very

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Love, The Christiansen's

YaY!! I just sold my last boxer pup! and I am so friggin HAPPY!
Maybe its all the praying my mom did?? I told her that if we didn't sale him the two weeks we were up there we were leaving him at their house, (the kids loved that!) so she better pray extra hard that we find a good home for him! I think all the praying paid off! Thanks mom :)

Obama made a public announcement that he is going to sign the Freedom Of Choice Act, which will allow all types of abortions including partial birth abortions, also allowing babies who are born alive due to botched up late term abortions, to be set aside without any medical care or nourishment and left to die (most of these babies have no medical problems and most of the ones that do, have things like clef pallets, club feet, things that are correctable, still they are murdered in the most cruel and inhuman way. They feel everything that is happening to them. There is more mercy for dogs that are put to sleep) This Bill also will make it mandatory for doctors and nurses to perform this murderous act even if they do not want to do so.
This act also allows under age teens to have an abortion, even partial birth abortions, without parental consent. Catholic Bishops have pleaded with Obama not to go ahead with this horrible murder of innocent babies. They have also told Obama that if he persists in signing this Bill which would require even Catholic Hospitals to perform these acts of murder, they will have no choice but to close all Catholic Hospitals.
Please let us join with these courageous Bishops who will go to any length to change Obama's mind. Please take a minute to sign this statement and let our voices be heard. This is a great, informative website. You can click on the video of Obama's speech to the Planned Parenthood group where he promised that the first thing he would do if elected President would be to sign the Freedom Of Choice Act. He isn't even in the White House yet and he made a statement last night that he will go forward with his plans to sign this outrageous bill. He still can change his mind because the Bill cannot be signed until he is actually the President.
Please let your family and friends know about this Bill and ask them to also sign this petition. Even those who voted for Obama would not want him to sign this Bill. Most important, please pray for Obama's true conversion to Christianity. If he doesn't change his atheistic ways, may God have mercy on our country for the sake of the millions who would never agree with this Bill if they fully understood all that it encompasses. Please click on the web site below. It will take less than a minute of your time, doesn't cost anything and God will bless you for standing up of Him and His commandment, "thou shalt not kill".
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing"

TWO DOWN ONE TO GO!

This past weekend and week we sold both our female pups, but our little male still hasn't found a good home yet! Kyle would love to keep him but there is NO WAY that is going to happen! He is our favorite but we already have two and they keep us on our toes enough as it is (don't get two boxers, one is enough!) He is 10 weeks and doing so good on house training and he loves to cuddle, he is a little lurpy and skinny but that will change the older he gets Ali our female was the same way! we will be up in Utah the night of the 23rd and we will travel on Christmas eve to take him to a good home if anyone wants him! we have lowered the price once again to $200.00 and his pen comes with! so if anyone wants him let us know!
(sorry this picture is when he was 8 weeks )
