WEEKEND FUN!

This weekend was filled with a whole lot of fun!
Friday early in the morning I rode up north with Kyle, he dropped me off at Kailee and Chris's house, it was only 6:30 when I got there so we slept a little longer until Kael decided it was time to get up!
Kailee made us some yummy Cinnamon roles for breakfast while we watched "Confessions of a shopaholic" it was a pretty funny movie!
we then ran some errands and a little shopping, as much as Kael let us do! he got a little inpatient with aunt Lindy taking forever trying to find some shoes to buy!
Later, after Chris and Kyle got off work, Kailee and Chris took us to this Mexican restaurant that they have been telling us about, we had there famous 99 cent tacos, mmmm they were deeelish!!
on our way back we stopped at my grandma's house to visit for a few, my mom and the kids were down visiting for Deja's summer party, Callee and Gentry decided to come back with us to Kailee's to hang out for a little while.
Kyle wanted us all to try "Geo Cashing" we all thought he was a little crazy when he was telling us what it was, here's how it works
first, you go onto there website and pull up the coordinates of a Geo Cashing in a area then you read the hints and put the coordinates on a GPS, you then go looking for this Geo Cashing, once you find it (and it can be some crazy weird things) you sign your name and if you want to take something out of the Geo then you have to make sure you put something in its place, then you hide back into its original place you found it. Watch out for Muggles!! or Mouggles as Kyle kept calling them!
so its kinda like a treasure hunt and I guess hundreds of thousands of people young and old have been doing this for years, its pretty crazy how many Geo Cashing there are out there I was really surprised! some of you may have heard of this before but it was all our first time and we all had a blast, walking around till 11:00 at night, even Kael!
Here are some pictures of our fun time...

Saturday, Kyle and I had to wake up early and get ready to leave to look at apartments, while I was getting ready Kyle and Chris decided they were going to go look for one, 1, uno, Geo Cashing he said, I told him it was alright if he was back in one, 1, uno, hour because we needed to leave at that exact time, he said OK about an hour and a half goes by and he wasn't there I called him asking him where he was and they had decided to that they wanted to find two more, but he was close to being back. Kyle finally walked in the door hurry and changed, by then we only had five minutes to get to West Jordan, we ended up being a whole hour late to our showing, I made Kyle apologize to the lady we had the appointment with! sheesh boys and there games!

After we spent the whole morning and afternoon looking at apartments, we went out to eat at Mcgraths it was so good, we love the calamari! mmmm, its making me crave it just talking about it! we decided that even though the apartments we looked at were very nice and we would absolutely loved to live in one we just couldn't do it, if we did it would have been paycheck to paycheck without being able to put any money in the savings (since we have learned we need to SAVE!) so know we are looking for older, smaller, but still clean, cheaper apartments, a little difficult and we need to find one soon because all the college students are starting to look right now and they are all going fast! anyone know of any apartments that fit that description?

we then headed down to Sanpete to meet up with the family for Dejanae's summer party! since her birthday is on Christmas day Kade and Meg decided that Deja is going to have a summer party on June 25th so that she can have a fun birthday party with friends as she gets older, but we will still celebrate her real birthday with family!

we all met up at Roy's Pizza in Ephraim and had some pizza, bread sticks, and presents! Deja looked cute as ever! like always! earlier that day they all went swimming at the Manti pool, I wish we could have made it! After eating we went and walked around pageant for a while visiting then we all went our separate ways.

Deja and her first sucker! she loved it!

we had a great weekend spending time with family, and we can't wait to have some more fun on the 4th!

Fathers day

For Fathers Day weekend, we had lots of fun! Saturday my family was up from New Mexico, we went out to eat in Ephraim, went out to Mayfield and played some games and hung out and chatted for a while. I love just sitting around talking to each other, its the best!

Sunday we went to church (well just sacrament) with everyone, we then came home and had some lunch with everyone, then when it cleared up a little later Robert, Kyle, and I went up fairview Mountain and went fishing the first lake we didn't have any luck, then the second lake they did better, I actually fell asleep in the truck for most of the time, but Robert and Kyle had a lot of fun and when I was awake I had fun!

When you were young, pony-tailed, face full of playful freckles, were you a daddy's girl? I was. I still am. Did you look to him for your security, for love and attention, for the understanding, and the patience you lacked as a child? My daddy was the center of my small world, the focus of my affections, the star that lit my life, shining bright. Shining still in my heart. The years have led me here, weathered with maturity and responsibilities, and I see more clearly now. The hardships, burdens of love, and all the small sacrifices he made for me, for our family. He created stability, a place to call home. All the photographs I browse through of a child long forgotten, scarcely remembered smiling, so happy and so loved. The mere thought of becoming that role model is enough to send me cowering, afraid... looking for guidance. Turning to my father and my more for support, advice, wise counsel, and for approval. Grown up, I see differently now... A new perspective of a man I have always known. My heart is full, my emotions overpowering just in the certainty of that bond. He's been there for me through all the conflicts helping me over the rough, ragged stones of growing up. My respect for him is unending, faith is unbound, and love is unquestioning. Even in the midst of all my imperfections, he is lenient, ignoring the pitfalls, the downfalls, the shortcomings, he just accepted me as I was, as I am. The sheer purity of it leaves me awe-struck and it lifts me up, it holds my head a little higher, it keeps me in balance, harmonizing with the world around me beautifully, like an inspired masterpiece from the soul of an honest man. I am honored to know him, to love him, to be of him. He's my hero, and I am his daughter, his little girl.

I may look like my mom but I have my dad personality. When I was young I looked at my dad like he was amazing, and about my teen years we butt heads like crazy we did not get along at all! Now that I am older and married once again I look at my dad like he is amazing and he truly is! I have learned so much from my dad, he is such a strong person he has gone through more than anybody really knows one thing after another since he was very little... and yet he is still going strong he never gave up! My dad is my hero, he truly is, and one of my best friends! I love my dad so much, and I miss him like crazy! I hope you had a great Fathers Day Dad!

I LOVE YOU!

It was a great weekend spending time with our dads, and letting them know how much we appreciate them!

sorry one more day of our North Carolina trip...
{Friday}
We went on a 3 hour drive to the largest house in the nation, the Vanderbilt's home. It was gorgeous! they had over 150,000 acres, a Little village, winery, ponds, HUGE gardens, it was so beautiful! we were there for a long time but we had a lot of fun, by the time we were leaving we were pretty much the only people there, are cars were the only ones in the parking lot!
early Saturday morning about 4:30 am we had to fly out, we really didn't want to leave, we had a blast! hopefully we can go out there again soon!
(I had so many pictures I had to put it in another collage but if you click on the pictures they will go larger.)

{Wednesday}

was a busy day! that morning us girls and the little man (Kael), (Joy, Kailee, and me) went into the city and went shopping! Joy took Kailee and me to get our nails done, man was that an experience! while Kailee was getting hit on by her Asian friend I was typing a letter for my Asian friends grandmother, but our nails looked good THANKS JOY! We then walked the mall picking out Kael the most handsome outfit ever! while us girls were at the mall the guys (Robert,Kaden,Kole,and Kyle) were touring Chapel Hill and they were all in heaven (they are HUGE Tar heel fans) they then met up with us at the mall.

Later that night we all rushed home and got ready for Kaden's graduation, it actually wasn't that long even though they had 600 kids graduating the talks were short and nice and they kept going right along! we are all so proud of Kaden! after the graduation we all went outside and took lots of pictures and then Paul treated us all to dinner! THANKS PAUL!

It was a great day!

{Thursday}
was another great day! Robert, Kaden, Kole, Kyle and me went to another mall and shopped around, while Kailee and Joy stayed back at home and got ready for Kaden's/Kael's celebration BBQ! Kael turned 1 that day, it is so crazy that he is already 1 years old! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAEL! All the family came over to Joy and Paul's and had some delicious BBQ'd food it was so good!! while we ate we enjoyed visiting with each other, then it was time to sing happy birthday to Kael it was pretty funny, he was looking at us all like we were all crazy, trying to figure out why we were all surrounding him singing with a million of camera's going off! He didn't really get into the cake, he would kinda touch it and look to see if he was going to get into trouble, after a little bit he decided he would try to grab some of the cake! we then opened presents he got a lot of cute clothes and shoes!

{Monday}
we went to the beach! we had such a blast!! OK so everyone else had a blast playing in the water and I had fun taking pictures, and then I laid on the towel to see if I could get some sun and I fell asleep, ya I know I'm visiting in NC we went to this beautiful beach and I fall asleep, who does that?? but I did get some cute pictures!

Now when we first arrived we were all putting some sun screen and Joy says "kyle don't you need some sunscreen?" and Kyle's response "no, when I get burned it doesn't hurt, I'm fine" the ending results......

I am showing you how red he was, this picture doesn't even do it justice he was bright red and in a whole lot of pain!! now he is just peeling about five layers of skin! I hope you learned your lesson Kyle!!

here are some more pictures of us at the beach...

Kyle was like a little kid the whole time we were there! He was lovin every minute of it!Kael didn't really like the water, every time a wave would come up he would hold on to Kailee as tight as he possibly could!
{Tuesday}
was a stormy day and Robert was flying in that night so we stayed around town and went to a movie "Land of the lost" (I think that's what its called?) it was pretty funny, there were some dumb parts but other than that we laugh our heads off we were probably the loudest people laughing! the power went out a couple of times so we got free tickets to go see another movie, but we never got to use them we left home to Utah. It was a good relaxed day! sorry no pictures for Tuesday!

{Saturday}

We flew out of Salt Lake about 5:30pm, it was a little stormy so right when we took off we hit some turbulence it was only my second time flying so it freaked me out a little but the rest of the flight was just fine, four hours later we arrived in Raleigh Durham North Carolina and were welcomed by Joy and Kaden. It was pretty dark so we didn't get to see what it all look like except there were tress everywhere! We got to Joy's house it is such a beautiful house, we chatted for a while and then went to bed it was pretty late!

This is us waiting to leave at the airportand this is when we were hitting some turbulence!

{Sunday}

we hung outside for a little bit, and then decided to go to a movie, we went to "Up" it was the second time that Ky and I have seen it and I still think that it was such a cute movie! I recommend it to anyone even if you don't have a little one! It was a great day full of relaxing and chatting!

Kael Loved Bella, every time he would see her he would squeal and laugh! I love taking pictures of Kael he is such a cutie & so funny, he has such a cute personality!
