MY MIND IS GOING CRAZY!
The past month has been a little up & down with different emotions, two days before Christmas was the day I had my miscairrage and I really thought I was going to be fine but then thinking that I could've been a mom with a 4 month old baby spending his/her first christmas with my family kinda got to me.... and still knowing that it has now been a year and we still don't have any answers is really irratating! On Friday night we went out to the movie and I saw a family friend and her beautiful little adopted girl she actually has two adopted little girls and they are so beautiful and me keeping my options open I went and talked to her about the adoption agencies she went through, she actually said oh that's great they are looking for people right now to adopt some little african american girls and if we started our paper work by at least next week we could have a little girl by Febuary, I just thought that was so great and I was actually pretty excited! ( I always get ahead of myself) well after really thinking about it and talking to kyle that night reality kicked in! My health isn't really that great right now and I do need to get my surgery not just for the whole baby situation but so they can figure out a way so I'm not always in pain, we are going to start building a house hopefully by spring, and the costs of adoption has gone up and we would need to save for a little while! (its so sad the price they put on the little kids around the world that need homes) And like Kyle said we can keep our options open but we also need to take one step at a time.
Every time I talk to the Lord about this subject I always get the same answer that I need to keep my options open, and I need to do my part and get my surgery done! I know for a fact that I will adopt one day it could be sooner or later on in my life and it won't just be one! but every time I do pray about this something always comes up like a lesson in church or something some one says to me that just always reminds me to keep my options open. Today in my parents ward Brother Bartholomew was teaching our class and the topic was on
Family Responsibilities:
He went through and told us what the church thinks is the responsibity of the kids and the father and then he got to the mother and what he read just really got to me and touched me!
Responsibilites of the Mother
President David O. Mckay said that motherhood is woman's NOBLEST CALLING it is a sacred calling, a PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD in bringing his spirit children into the world. A mother's most important responsibility is to bring children into the world and to care for and teach them. Bearing children is one of the GREATEST OF ALL BLESSINGS.
Elder Boyed K. Packer praise women who were unable to have children of their own yet sought to care for others. He said "When I speak of mothers, I speak not only of those women who have borne children but also of those who have fostered children born to others, and of the many women who, without children of their own, have mothered the children of others"
what President David O. Mckay and Elder Boyed K. Packer said just really hit me today and has helped me with some answers I have been searching for! The good news out of all this is I have a doctors appointment with my specialist and we are going to be setting a date for my surgery and I will finally be getting some answer and even though it might not be the exact answers we are looking for I now know who to go to for some adoption agencies!

MISSING....
Making me do this...And giving me these...
It's past 2:00 a.m. and I cannot sleep to save my life! my eyes are tired but my body and brain won't relax, the coyotes are going crazy just outside of my house and have been doing so for about an hour its kinda creepy, I'm snuggled up in my bed just hoping they will go away and bug someone else (OK so I don't want them to bug someone else but to just go away!) Maximas is snoring uncontrollably and Ali must be having some crazy dream! I hate nights like these, OK so those aren't the real reason why I can't sleep its because a certain special someone isn't keeping the other side of my bed warm, he is gone on a little one night camping trip with the young men in our ward so tomorrow morning they can wake up bright and early and cut down Christmas trees, how fun is that! I bet he is wishing he was here with me, snuggled all warm!
But I do miss him, ya I know I'm a boob its only one night what can I say I'm spoiled to be able to be with my hubby every night! I miss ya babe hope you had a fun, safe time! can't wait to see you!

This is a picture I took today I think winter is coming or at least trying!! I have lived down here just a little over a year now and this will be my second winter down here, if you can even call it winter! I am still not used to not seeing snow on the ground, It was over 60 degrees today and its DECEMBER! It just doesn't seem like its Christmas when I am down here, I miss the snow and having to bundle up! I mean it is nice at six in the morning taking all five dogs out and only having to put on a light zipped up sweater, but still I miss the snow! But I guess that's what family is for right? We get to go visit, get cold enough to last us the year and then head back down here to the warmer weather! I love the Holidays especially Christmas, spending time with family and friends, the snow, fireplaces to warm you up, all the cute warm clothing, cuddling with my hubby in blankets, looking at lights at Temple Square! I JUST LOVE CHRISTMAS! So in a couple weeks all the leaves will be completely off our trees and on the ground, of course we won't rake them up because we don't have one, And I have decided I will leave them on the ground to take the place of the snow we don't get down here!
THANKSGIVING WEEKEND
He loves his momma!
My dad up and early getting started on the dinner!
Kyle doning his chore for the day blowin the leaves for my mom, what a swear heart!
if you can't tell this is Bubbas sleeping under the table with the pups!
FRIDAY.. Kyle went out to the Dunes with some of his friends and had a lot of fun! while I went with my mom and Meggan to Gunnison to a craft fair but it was over by like 12 which is dumb! so we decided to go to this furniture/craft store in Salina I love this little place they have the cutest stuff! That night my parents kade and meggan went to a movie without me and Kyle, Kyle didn't make home in time from the dunes so we stayed home with bubbas and the dogs and had our own fun!
SATURDAY.. we were pretty lazy we all kinda did our own thing this is when we usually head up to Salt Lake Temple Square to go out to eat do a little shopping and see the lights but because of my dad's knee surgery and Meggan being close to having that adorable baby of theirs we decided we would all just go out and eat at Steve's Steak House in Richfield my family loves that place its the best steak house I have ever been to! just talking about it has me craving it again!
SUNDAY.. we all woke up late and only had like twenty minutes to get ready for church my family headed off to church and I thought we were right behind until I let the dogs out and there were deer standing on the lawn, off went Ali and Max chasing the deer everywhere! I'll tell you what the deer in Mayfield are extremely dumb instead of just jumping over the fences they just kept running into them I was screaming and yelling for ali and max to leave to poor things alone when max decided he was going to chase one up the mountain about 15-20 mins later max came back, man was I mad! My dad came up to see if we were coming to church and took us down there we made the last little bit of sacrament. we then got back to the house and started to load up all our stuff it took us about an hour, we ate some lunch chatted here and there and then said our good byes and love yous and headed home the ride home was a lot longer that the ride up the puppies wouldn't sleep and when we stopped it took us a whole hour to get them settled down again. But we made it home safe and sound! Thanks mom and dad for having us over for Thanksgiving dinner, and we can't wait to be back up there for Christmas in just a few weeks!
