TWILIGHT

OK... so I went to the Twilight movie and actually really liked it!
I am one of those losers who didn't read the book so I was kinda nervous I wouldn't
understand any of it but I did with the help of Emily (OK so I did have to ask a couple of questions) but other then that it was a really fun and much needed night for me!
Some ladies from my ward invited me to go with them and me being me I said yes
and then later told Kyle that maybe I should back out because I was really nervous!
I was only nervous because it was the first time I had hung out with some ladies since I
have moved down here.... but I am totally happy I was brave and went! They made some
cute shirts saying on the front "my heart belongs to Kyle (and on the back) but my neck belongs to Edward" they were really cute shirts, and even though I didn't read the books they still made me one! We left little Ole Moapa around 8 and went into Mesquite and ate at Denny's and by the time we were done we drove by the theater and they were setting up some stuff so we decided to go and be the first ones in line shortly after people started to show, but they were setting up a little red carpet because one of the actors in Twilight was in town with some other actors filming a movie, the Twilight actor was Bella's friend Mike sorry I don't know his real name, and the really really big black guy off of Pirates of the Caribbean and a couple of others, so that was pretty neat even though I didn't really know who they were I was like Mike who? but after seeing the Movie I got who he was! so that was pretty cool! we didn't get home till about 3 kyle was just getting up for work! but I had so much fun!
To sum it all up
..I was nervous, almost backed out
..had fun getting to know everyone at Denny's
..got to be at a red carpet event (even though it was a really small one)
..Loved the movie
..got home when Kyle was getting up for work
.. Had a BLAST!
Thanks everyone for inviting me, and getting to know everyone and making me feel comfortable I really had a lot of fun and like I said before it was very needed for me to go out with some girls! and I can't wait to go with you all again!

JUST THINKING

Tonight while I was sitting watching a movie with Kyle someone said....
"If you wanna Know how to make
the Lord laugh, tell him how
YOU planned your life."
that little saying really made me think, if we were able to plan out our lives what would the point of all of us being here be? I have learned so much this past year, first of all it being the first year of mine and Kyle's marriage and us making some very important decisions. That marriage isn't just playing house, that you have to work at it together and communicating and compromising are extremely important. We both have learned so much about each other and ourselves, even though I already thought I know everything about him I mean we did date for four years! But I was wrong we have learned a lot about and each other and still do everyday! Like everyone said the first couple of months are the hardest, I was extremely homesick we were trying to get comfortable with living with each other and our new responsibilities. We were constantly fighting it got to the point where I started to think "did we rush into this, did we make a mistake?" I was talking to my mom about all of this because I was scared that after just two months I failed my marriage, she said " sis, did you really think you could do this with out the church in your lives? And she was right, we weren't going to church at all and had only gone on and off for a couple of years. Kyle and I talked and that's when we decided we were going to go through the Temple. We reached our goal this last July and there has been a major difference in our marriage and our own personnel selves, its amazing how strong its made us and how much happier we are and how much faith we have I personally now have a true strong testimony, now that I look back I don't know how I made it through part of my life without the church.
One major thing I have learned this year is that every bad or lets say every choice we make without prayer and fasting has its own trials, and every bad and good choice we make has its own outcome, my family and Kyle and I made a choice this last year without really praying about it, we put our trust in a family member and we also thought we were helping other people too, because we didn't pray aboutit like we should have my family faces their biggest trial, they now have to start their lives completely over. Now if we all had prayed and fasted and put our full trust in the Lord instead of this family member would it have been a different outcome, you better believe it!
And then their are things that happen that no matter how much praying and fasting we do we won't know or get the answer until later on in life like a miscarriage or a illness that can't be cured or an accident, sometimes there are just accidents that happen and you can't explain how or why it happened and even if you search and search for those answers you may not get them for a long time or until the Lord knows your ready. And that's where we need to have faith, and if its supposed to be then things will work out, now I'm not saying sit back think positive and it will just happen for you, you have to take those steps to make it work and if it still doesn't feel right or work out then it wasn't supposed to be. Just like prayer we can't just say a prayer ask the Lord for the answer, we have to do our part and search and ponder first.
I know so many people going through so many trials lately its like one thing after another. I don't know if its just the year or what but I have noticed I am always looking at the negative instead of the positive, for example this whole week I have been so cranky, down, and irritated I could come up with so many excuses why but tonight I have realized what has really been bugging me. Kyle has been working his butt off so he can bank hours so we have more time with our families over the Holidays, he knows how much I love the holidays, and how important it is for me to be with family so me being stubborn and selfish I have been cranky and snappy at him when really I just wanted to spend more time with him, I know I'm weird like that! I didn't realize how spoiled I was, being able to spend so much time with him every week until it was taken away from me and instead of thinking he is working his butt off for me I went straight to the negative and was mad because he wasn't here to spend time with me! man am I horrible or what?? I am so thankful for everything Kyle does for me and my family he is truly such a sweet heart, and I love him so much! So my new goal is to start seeing the blessings I have, and look more at the positive!

NICKLE & DIMED

Yesterday....oh what can I say about yesterday, have you ever had one of those days where your brain feels like its crammed with so much, and your so stressed you just want to go run 10 miles ( I wouldn't make the first mile). Yesterday we walked away from that beautiful house I last posted about, everything was going great at least we thought it was, Saturday we made an offer on the house the contractor obviously countered back he only went down $500.00 on the house which this is the type of games you have to play when your buying a house the counter offer is to see how serious you are in buying the house... push came to shove and we ended up walking away from the house there were just to many red flags that popped up at the last minute, including seeing our realtor's true colors... Lets just say they thought we were some stupid young couple that was just going to jump into a house and not really see what was going on, I hate that people think just because we are young they can sucker us into anything....OK in the past we have been suckered into some things, buying a English bulldog off the Internet clear from Africa from a lady who was over there helping a tribe, I thought she was such an awesome lady for doing that but when I sent my $500.00 over there and her e-mailing me back saying she needed more money it finally hit me she isn't sending the dog. And then really finding out that she wasn't really a she and it was all a scam! just to name a couple other times having to pay a $7,000.00 hospital bill because our health insurance really wasn't a legit health insurance, and the big one my uncle screwing us out of two vehicles and my family losing everything they have! I just don't trust people any more especially after your own family member doing something like that to you!
Its really getting scary now days and its only going to get worse people are so desperate for money that they will do ANYTHING to get it! I wish we didn't have to have money to survive in this world. I just want to buy us a nice little house in Utah get my health back the way it needs to be and spend as much time as possible with my husband and family and enjoy them and watch our family grow

BIG STEP

This weekend my parents came down for a weekend getaway and because we needed their help! Kyle and I have been looking at buying a house for quite a while and this last couple of months we found one that was exactly what we wanted, but we knew we couldn't do anything until our little trailer was sold... well we found a buyer and all we needed to do was make an offer on the one we loved so this last Saturday while my parents were down we went and did a 2nd walk through and put our first offer in! This coming Monday we will see if the contractor of the development will take the offer or counter! It was a big step for me and Kyle and we are both a little nervous but way excited, we know its a big step and HUGE responsibility but we are ready and we have been planning on this the past 8 or 9 months so its nothing we are just jumping into, that's why we had my parents come down my dad went through the house and inspected everything and my dad being a contractor himself and deals with people buying his houses on a constant basis we decided that it wouldn't hurt inviting them down to help us out and the fact that we are first time buyers! they were a BIG help and it was really nice to spend some time with them and it was nice for them to get away and laugh and have some relaxing fun!

Oh and the pups are doing really good! They are walking and running, barking, peeing and pooping every where! we did have to put one down though :( it was physically impossible for him to go to the bathroom so his colon was full of food, his colon was as big as a tennis ball, so now we are down to three, Ali is doing great her infection is completely gone! but other then that we have just been home with the puppies hanging out and Kyle has been working hard so we have some time to spend in Utah over the Holidays!

Hope everyone had a good and safe weekend! :)
